The Laser Methane Mini (LMm) is a truly portable and handheld methane detector that offers users the ability to detect methane remotely from as far away as ~100' (30m). What once was a time-consuming and resource draining procedure can now be completed in a fraction of the time by utilizing Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) technology.

Current methods such as FID require users to be within arm's reach of a potential methane source and position the detector into the gas cloud, often requiring scaffolding or special access equipment to reach the area of interest. No longer is that an issue when using the Laser Methane Mini (LMn). The handheld laser only needs to be aimed at the area of interest and the emitted beam to pass through the gas cloud to detect methane. This is done by simply pointing the laser beam towards a suspected leak or along a survey line, and the handheld instrument will monitor the level of methane.

Using the Android application and appropriate device, users can generate reports with GPS in real-time.
